KSC announces grand independence sports festival (Pakistan Observer)

The Khyber Sports Club (KSC) office bearers during a press conference at Landikotal Press club announced grand sports and culture festival in Landikotal on the eve of independence day.

Flanked by Khyber Agency table tennis association general secretary, Abdur Rehman Shinwari ,Finance secretary Nasib Shah Shinwari and Kaleemulalh Shinwari the general secretary of KSC Najeeb Shinwari said that like the previous year their club would also organize a grand sports and culture festival on 14th August, the 68th independence day of Pakistan at Government High School Landikotal play ground.

Najeeb Shinwari said that on Independence day some twenty thousand spectators would enjoy the events of foot ball, tug of war, Martial art display, Tableau and national songs. He said that chief guest on the day would be the Jamat-e-Islami ameer, Sairaj Ul Haq and some other special guests, representatives of NA-45, political agent of Khyber Agency, director sports FATA, officials of FATA Olympic association and the leaders of Khyber political alliance have also been invited to participate in the celebrations of 68th independence day of Pakistan.

Najeeb Shinwari and other authorities of sport associations demanded the political administration of Landikotal to provide full security on the 14th of August to ensure the safety of thousands tribesmen.

They also demanded the Political Agent of Khyber Agency, representatives of NA45, director sports FATA and the officials of FATA Olympic association to compensate them for organizing a successful sports and culture gala.
