Kyrgyzstan to host Issyk-Kul Sport Games among CIS countries

Bishkek (AKIpress) – Issyk-Kul Sport Games among the CIS countries will be held in Kyrgyzstan on September 4-12, reports the press service of the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund.

About 2,000 athletes from the CIS countries, Turkey, India and Pakistan will attend the event under the motto Asia the region of commonwealth and peace.�

The competitions will be held in two age groups: under 35 and over 35. They will compete in 13 sports, includes darts, athletics, football, table tennis, swimming, volleyball, streetball, arm wrestling and a tug of war.

Organizers of the project are the Council of Voluntary Sports Societies of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan with the support of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the government of Kyrgyzstan and the Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund of CIS member states.
