Peshawar: LANDIKOTAL: Two volunteers of TI killed and seven injured in a blast of explosive material I Bazaar Zakha Khel. Tawheed Ul Islam (TI) has reportedly claimed to have captured three strategic posts of Lashkar Islam (LI) and arrested three extremists of LI from the three posts at Bokhar area near Tirrah Valley here on Thursday, administration sources informed saying the injured, and volunteers of TI have been shifted to hospitals in Peshawar. Sources said that the explosive went off in the post when TI volunteers entered it as a result of which two volunteers were killed identified as Zabit Khan and Jan Wali whereas seven other sustained serious injuries in the blast. TI sources also claimed to have arrested three extremists of LI from Bokhar area.
Meanwhile JUI-F senior most leader Maulana Muhammad Omer Banori in a statement has rejected the four members JUI-F cabinet in Khyber Agency.
Banori said that JUI-F cabinet did not exist in Khyber Agency nor there were any cabinets in any tehsils of Khyber Agency, alleging the existing defunct cabinet members to have links with extremists elements, which is against the party’s manifesto. He said that he was loyal to party chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman.
In a separate statement JI Khyber Agency president Hasan Shinwari has blamed the Jamrud based political administration and the returning officer for NA 45 for being partial in the election campaign process, alleging that administration Khasadar Force personnel for putting of JI flags in Jamrud and erecting and hoisting a rich independent candidate’s flags.
JI chief in Khyber Agency Hasan Shinwari condemned the KKF personnel for torturing the JI workers while they tried to meet the returning officer Jehangir Azam Wazir to lodge complains with him.
Murad Hussain, another JI leader has also criticized the election commission for not taking notice of the lavish usage of money during election campaign in NA 45 Khyber and the display of weapons, which is a violation of the election code of conduct.
In a separate news conference held at Landikotal press club, tribal elders including Malik Abdul Haleem, Malik Abdullah Khan, Shaukat Ali and Rafiq Ullah alleged the former MNA Noorul Haq Qadri for usurping the huge funds in his five years term in the national assembly.
The tribal elders alleged Qadri for pushing the NA 45 towards backwardness and disorder, saying that former MNA also misused the BISP through his touts for favouring the rich persons rather than the poor ones.
Shelman water supply scheme had been wrapped by red tape in the FATA secretariat due to his ineligibility, the elders blamed the former MNA , asking the government and concerned departments to hold enquiry into the huge funds that former MNA could not spend on the development of the area.
