‘Laptop of CEC stolen’

Karachi: Unknown thieves stole the laptop of chief election commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim from his office at Clifton Karachi, Geo news channel reported.

It said the laptop contained important data. The theft was carried out in noon hours on Sunday. Separately, Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Altaf Hussain in a statement expressed serious concern on the reports about the theft of CEC’s laptop. He asked the caretaker government to take notice of the incident and ensure early recovery of the stolen laptop.
