LG elections: JUI-F Sindh not to join any poll-alliance

Karachi: Jamait Uelma-e-Islam Sindh chapter spokesman Muhammad Aslam Ghouri has said that his party would not join any big political alliance for coming local government elections. In a statement he said the district chapters of JUI-F would, however, be free to join alliances at local level. He said local government system is necessary for progress and prosperity of any country. He regretted that during the last five years the coalition government did not give the facility of local governments to citizens.

He said if local government elections were not held it would be atrocity with the people of Sindh. He said his party has decided not to join big political alliances for local bodies elections, but the party leaders would be free to form or join local alliances at district level if it suits them.
