Life imprisonment for abducting driver

SIBI: Special Judge Anti Terrorism Court Sibi sentenced an accused life imprisonment and a fine of Rupees fifty thousand here Thursday.

According to prosecution accused Siraj Ahmed and his four accomplices hired a taxi and later abducted him from Sukkur and demanded Rupees 0.2 million ransom.

Siraj was arrested and challan of the case was filed in the Anti Terrorism court headed by M Nawaz Khan Barakzai. Finding him guilty of the charge, court convicted him to life term and a fine of Rupees 50 thousand. His four accomplices are still at large.
