Mamnoon (President urges for socio-economic development)

Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain has underscored the need of fast socio-economic development to provide social justice and improve the living standard of the people.

Addressing the participants of 99th National Management Course here Wednesday ‚ the President said that Pakistan is blessed with enormous human and natural resources and the people rightly expect prudent policies and good governance to address their problems.

He said while the state is responsible for creating healthy political and economic environment conducive to development‚ the civil service is to ensure its efficient functioning.

The President appreciated the efforts of the National School of Public Policy for developing such useful courses to equip the officers with the state of the art management techniques about policy formulation and implementation.
