Masses have power to eliminate corruption, says Prof Sirajul Haq

Sialkot: Naib Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Prof. Sirajul Haq has said that masses have power to eliminate corruption, unemployment, terrorism, skyrocketing price hike and lawlessness from the country by electing the true leaders sincere to the nation and country through their votes in the coming general elections.

He stated this while addressing an important meeting of the party workers at Uggoki-Sialkot on Sunday. He said that it was the high time for the nation to wake up and choose their sincere representatives in the elections, as their right choice could help to pull the country out from the existing internal and external dangers and crisis as well.

Later, talking to media persons at Sialkot, Prof. Sirajul Haq said that it would be a fool practice to re-elect those whom were already tested by the masses repeatedly in past, as it was a high time for bringing change in the country.

He said that the plunderers of the national exchequer have made the future of the country bleak by playing with the destiny of the nation for the last 65 years, as the plunderers had already sold out the country economically to the IMF and World Bank, besides, putting an additional burden of billions of dollars in shape of foreign loans on the burden of this nation, a nation badly hit by terrorism, drone attacks and worst energy crisis.

He said that PPP came into power for four times by raising the high slogans of providing Roti, Kapra aur Makaan to the masses, but unfortunately PPP snatched all of these things from the people, making the lives of the poor very hard, besides, making them hand to mouth due to which the poor were forced to commit suicide or sell their children because of uncontrolled mounted price hike in the country.

He said that only the JI has the capabilities to pull the country out of the persisting political and energy crisis, saying that only JI could bring change in national political scenario with the power of the votes of the masses and making it an Islamic welfare society. He urged the people to come forward and vote JI candidates to ensure the smooth provision of justice and the rule of law in the country.
