Minister condemns bomb blast at University Road

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Information and Public Relations, Mossarat Qadeem has condemned bomb blast at University Road Peshawar which took precious human lives and injured a number of others.

In a condolence message, she sympathized with the families of victims. She directed the hospital administrations for proper healthcare to the injured. She said that the province and the whole of the country are faced with multifaceted security challenges.

The provincial government has already prepared a security plan which is being revisited and the weaknesses in the plan are being removed so that there is visible improvement in the overall law and order situation in the province, she added.

She said that the law enforcing agencies have been sensitized to prevent such occurrences which are prerequisite for the peaceful conduction of elections in the province. She assured more reinforcement to strengthen the law enforcing agencies and appropriate readjustments in the overall security plan. She assured all out support to the victims.
