NA condemns terrorist attack on polio workers

Islamabad: The National Assembly on Wednesday strongly condemned terrorist attacks on the Polio workers in Karachi and Peshawar and demanded for strict security of the polio teams.

Rising on a point of order, Yasmeen Rahman said that the government should take strict action against those involved in these attacks.

She said the federal and provincial governments should take extraordinary steps to control polio virus in the country and ensure security of the polio staff.

Those who spoke on the occasion include Sheikh Aftab, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, Imrana Saeed Jamil, Pervaiz Malik, Bushra Gohar and Hamid Saeed Kazmi.
