NA: NA current session to continue till February 8th

Islamabad: The current session of the National Assembly will continue till 8th February. This was decided in the House Business Advisory Committee of the National Assembly that met in Parliament House on Tuesday with Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi in the chair to discuss the business for the 49th Session of the National Assembly.

After thorough discussion, it was decided that the current session of the National Assembly will continue till 8th February, 2013. It was decided that ongoing session would be adjourned on 8th February, 2013 and will resume its business on 18th February, 2013.

The National Assembly besides taking up legislative business for passage would also take up other matters of public importance for discussion, the Business Advisory Committee decided.

The meeting was attended by Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed Naveed Qamar, Minister for Defence, Mr. Farooq H. Naik, Minister for Law and Justice, Engineer Shaukat Ullah, Minister for SAFRON, MNAs, Sheikh Aftab Ahmad, Ch. Muhammad Barjees Tahir, Dr. Abdul Kadir Khanzada, Maulana Muhammad Qasim and Mrs. Jamila Gillani attended the meeting.
