NA passes Pakistan Psychological Council bill

Islamabad: The National Assembly Thursday passed “The Pakistan Psychological Council Bill, 2013”. The bill provides for the establishment of Pakistan Psychological Council to register psychologists and related institutions in the country. It was moved by Riaz Fatyana.

The National Assembly also passed “The Federal Ombudsmen Institutional Reforms Bill, 2013” with amendments. The bill provides for making institutional reforms for standardizing and harmonizing the laws relating to Federal Ombudsmen institution and ancillary or akin matters. It was moved by Law Minister Farooq H. Naek.

The house also unanimously passed “The Capital University of Science and Technology Bill, 2012”. The bill provides for the establishment of Capital University of Science and Technology. It was moved by Law Minister Farooq H. Naek.
