Names of women candidates for 29 PS reserved seats announced

Karachi: Election Commission Sindh on Wednesday announced the names of 127 women candidates of different political parties whose nomination papers were approved by the Election Commission after proper scrutiny contesting general election for 29 reserved Provincial Assembly seats for women in the Province.

As per Election Commission Sindh, the names of 27 women candidates of Pakistan People Party Parliamentarian whose nomination papers were accepted by election commission for Provincial Assembly reserved seats are Shagufta Jumani, Syeda Shehla Raza, Sharmila Sahebah Farooqui, Erum Khalid, Nusrat Sultana, Kulsoom Chandio, Shehnaz Begum, Rehana Laghari, Shamim Mumtaz, Dr Sajeela Laghari, Rukhsana Parveen, Shaheena, Ghazala Siyal, Rubina Saadat Qaimkhani, Saira Shahliani, Farhat Seemen, Khairunnisa , Falak Naz, Tauqeer Fatima Bhutto, Shabana, Khalida Sikandar, Nasima Naz, Zahida Memon, Rehana, Musarrat Niazi, Yasmeen Butt and Qamarunnisa

Similarly, names of Muttahida Qaumi Movement MQM 26 candidates whose nomination papers were approved are, Sumeta Afzal, Bilqees Mukhtar, Heer Soho, Ayesha Khatoon, Rana Ansar, Naheed Begum, Shazia Jawaid, Erum Azeem Farooqi, Naila Munir, Shahnaz Saifuddin Bohra, Anwar Fatima Farha, Rifat Khan, Shermeen Fatima, Aliya Khan, Musarrat Jabeen, Naseemunnisa, Tehseen Abidi, Sabeen Ghauri, Dr Laila Parveen, Khursheed Afsar, Farzana Rajput, Zareen Majeed, Shah Jahan Begum, Rehana Shadab, Rubina Javed and Farhina Ambreen

The six nominations papers of Peoples Muslim League women candidates were accepted are, Kamla Bai, Kishoo Bai, Nasreen Riaz, Dr Musarrat, Syeda Batool Zehra and Nuzhat Pathan.

The lists of 10 women candidates of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz PMLN whose nomination papers were approved are, Soorat, Mukhtiar Nazo, Syeda Nishat, Faryal Rubab, Shahnaz, Zeenat Shaikh, Benish, Meer Zadi Thebo, Anna Faisal and Shaheen Arain.

The names of Muslim League-Functional PMLF 13 women candidates whose nomination papers were accepted are; Mehtab Akbar Rashidi, Nusrat Bano Sehar Abbasi, Samina Nasreen Mehmood, Farida Begum, Kiran Zubair Malik, Faiza Nadeem Mirza, Syeda Marvi Faseeh, Bibi Roshan Ara, Samina, Farah Naz, Rana Shah, Huma Shahzad Thaheem and Fehmida Jakhrani.

The names of five candidates of All Pakistan Muslim League APML whose nomination papers were also approved are Syeda Sarwat Zahra Saba, Najma Meenai, Feeroze Warsi, Tehseen Fatima and Zain.

Moreover, five nomination papers of Pakistan Muslim League Sindh candidates were accepted are Neelofar Qureshi, Afshan Mansoor, Seeda Bano, Salma Khan, Fareeda Khan Leghari.

The five nomination papers of National Peoples Party candidates were approved are, Lubna Kaukab Lodhi, Misbah Irfan Lodhi, Sofia Syed alias Maqbool Nisa, Raheela Tiwana.

The names of five candidates of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf candidates whose nomination papers were accepted are Seema Zia, Ambreen Sehti, Nadia Humayun, Ghazala Nawa and Rahela Farooq.

The 11 nomination papers of Jamaat-e-Islami women candidates were approved are Nasreen Anjum, Nilofar Qureshi, Durdana Siddiqui, Rakhshanda Naz, Neelofar Aslam, Sabra Begum, Safia Khanum, Shahida Parveen, Kulsoom, Umme Utiya and Tayyaba Khanum.

The four nomination papers of Awami National Party ANP were accepted are Mumtaz Begum, Nayyar Sultana Awan, Shazia Batool and Arshi Gul.

The name five candidates of Sindh United Party SUP whose nomination papers were approved are Bibi Shahnaz, Samreen, Sajida Andleeb, Sheeba Kehar and Mayan Chandio, while two nomination papers of Qaumi Awami Tehreek women are Dr Sindho Mangrar and Husna Rahujo.

The one nomination paper of Muttahida Deeni Muhaaz candidate, Nazakat Bibi, was accepted and two nomination papers of Pakistan Peoples’ Party Shaheed Bhutto SB candidates were accepted. They are Amna Seema and Syeda Tanzeem Rizvi.
