National football squad announced for Asian Games

Pakistan Football team has left Lahore for Jakarta to participate in the Asian Games Scheduled in Indonesia from 18th of August to 2nd September.

Saddam Hussain will lead the national team.

Earlier, National Football squad was announced for the Asian Games in Indonesia.

Pakistan will play their first match against Vietnam on 14th of August. The national team will face Japan in second match on 16th and Nepal in third match on 19th of this month.

With this announcement, the national team will return to international football after a year's gap. Pakistan was suspended from all football activities by FIFA in October last. The ban was lifted in March this year.
