NATO containers resume return journey from Afghanistan

CHAMAN: NATO supply containers started return journey from Afghanistan via Chaman. As many as 13 containers left Chaman for Karachi after clearing at Pak-Afghan border.

Deputy Superintendent Customs Muhammad Naeem Agha told that NATO supply resumed return from Afghanistan. Thirteen containers carrying goods of NATO forces left Chaman for Karachi Port last night.

He said same procedure has been adopted for return supply as was adopted for Supply from Karachi to Afghanistan. On reports of suspected goods in containers their seal would be broken and checked. These containers have also been passed through modern scanner installed at the border.

Naeem Agha said still 23 containers were parked at Vesh Mandi at Afghan territory to pass through Chaman on way to Karachi. These would also be cleared before departure.
