Nauman bowls Pak Customs to victory

Karachi: Nauman Akram displayed lethal bowling show and captured a seven wicket haul to help Pakistan Customs defend a modest total against Medicam Cricket Club and eventually record an imposing 73run victory in Qualifier Cricket League 2013 here at State Bank Sports Complex on Friday.

Pakistan Customs batted first in the match and put on board 16110 in 40.3 overs losing all of their wickets. Rafay Ahmed batted well and scored 41 runs while Yasir Hussain also batted well playing an unbeaten 34run knock. Shahid Ali grabbed three wickets for Medicam CC.

Medicam CC in response were all bundled out for a measly total of 88 runs in 23rd over – thanks to Noman, who captured seven scalps giving away only 24 runs to help Customs defend its modest total.
