In the ICC World Cup, New Zealand beat West Indies by five runs at Manchester last night.

Batting first New Zealand scored 291 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 50 overs.

In reply, West Indies were bowled out for 286 runs in 49 overs.

In another match, India beat Afghanistan by eleven runs at Southampton.
