No foreign dictation will be accepted: Pervaiz Rashid

Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has expressed the hope that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will be able to convince US leadership on Pakistan’s stance on drone attacks.

The prime minister will also inform US President Barack Obama about the dialogue process with the Taliban to establish peace in the country, he said in a statement.

The Minister said Pakistan is an independent and sovereign state and will not allow anyone to interfere in its internal affairs.

He said the PML-N government has already made it clear that no foreign dictation will be accepted at all.

He said Pakistan desires a lasting peace in Afghanistan and is opposed to any external intervention there.
