Noted artist dies of HIV/AIDS

RATODERO: A noted artist of Sindh, Rajib Bhatti, died of HIV/AIDS in Ratodero. He was 32. Bhatti was tested HIV positive some five months back and remained under constant treatment but could not survive. He acted and directed in various plays and was widely known for his performance.

He left behind two children and a widow. He was the resident of Kausar Mill locality. He was laid to rest at Ghogharo graveyard. The friends of the late artist told PPI that due to extreme poverty, he could not get proper treatment despite they kept on appealing to the Sindh government to provide treatment to their colleague.
