Notorious proclaimed offender arrested

Sialkot: The Sialkot police have arrested a notorious proclaimed offender PO Nasir alias Bablu, bearing Rs.0.5 million head money announced by the provincial government.

Sialkot District Police Officer DPO Ather Ismail Amjad disclosed this while talking to media persons on Sunday. SP Investigation Sialkot Asad Sarfraz Khan and senior member Sialkot District Peace Committee Zafar Malik were also present on this occasion.

DPO said that a special team of Sialkot police led by Inspector Zulfiqar Chatta SHO Cantt police station raided there at an hide out near Lahore, on a tip off, and arrested the accused Nasir alias Bablu from there.

DPO added that the accused had been wanted by police for the last nine years in three cases of murder and 24 cases of dacoity and robbery.
