OIC condemns Houthi missile attack on Saudi Arabia’s Abha airport

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the missile attack by the Houthi militias on Saudi Arabia's Abha International Airport, which injured a number of innocent civilians, including women and children.

OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed AlOthaimeen stressed that this hostile and criminal approach of Houthi militias and their continued firing of missiles at the Kingdom are aimed at destabilizing the security and stability of Saudi Arabia and the region, in implementation of conspiracies against the Kingdom and its citizens as well as residents on its territory.

The Secretary General reiterated OIC's support and full solidarity with Saudi Arabia's leadership, government and people in all steps and measures taken to maintain the Kingdom's security and stability and to counter the forces of darkness and terrorism. He pointed out that those who planned and supported this terrorist act were carrying out a desperate plan to undermine security in the Kingdom and the region as a whole.
