Pakistan successfully tests surface-to-surface ballistic missile

Islamabad Pakistan has successfully carried out a training launch of a surface-to-surface ballistic missile capable of delivering multiple types of warheads, Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported.

"Pakistan successfully carried out night training launch of surface to surface ballistic missile Ghaznavi, capable of delivering multiple types of warheads up to 290 KMs," Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj. Gen. Asif Ghafoor said on Thursday.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Services Chiefs have congratulated the team for carrying the successful launch at night time, he said, adding that the President and the Prime Minister have also conveyed appreciation to the team and felicitated the nation on the success.
