KARACHI: Procter & Gamble P&G has been acknowledged as the company for leadership by Hay Group, a respected global management consulting firm, on the announcement of its eighth annual Best Companies for Leadership Study. The study ranks the top 20 companies for leadership around the world and examines how companies grow and develop people throughout their careers.
The ranking is based on survey responses from 2,200 companies around the world. Respondents who completed the survey were from 125 countries. P&G has been in the top five companies every year since the study has been conducted, demonstrating the consistency and reputation of its approach to leadership development.

As a result of the company’s promote from within culture, several P&G employees from Pakistan are now leading international P&G assignments.
P&G’s leadership ranking was preceded by the announcement from Working Mother Magazine that P&G ranked as a Top 10 company in their list of Top 100 Companies for Working Mothers. This is the second consecutive year in which they have honoured P&G as a top 10 company. Also, in the research firm Universum’s list of the World’s Most Attractive Employers for 2013, P&G was once again in the top 10 list for business students and 11 for engineering students, and the top CPG company on both lists.
