PIPS’s report on election issues launched

Islamabad: Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services PIPS launched a report of the Senate Special Committee on Election Issues on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion‚ Leader of the House in Senate Jahangir Badar said the report is the first historical document suggesting various recommendations for fair‚ free and impartial elections. He said that committee finalized the report after a series of meetings with all stakeholders and all political parties.

He said that PPP has the credit that its leadership and workers rendered numerous sacrifices for upholding of democracy and will continue to render in future as well.

Leader of Opposition Ishaq Dar‚ speaking on the occasion‚ said that PMLN has been playing its role in strengthening of the democratic set up during the last 5 years.
