QUETTA: Prime Minister said that 90 % of economics benefits of the Pak-China Economic Corridor would go to the people of Balochistan in the form of employment and other economic opportunities.

“We are also working on studies to determine feasibility of Solar Power Generation projects in the rural areas of Balochistan so that people have access to cheap energy”, said the PM.

He was speaking to Parliamentarians from Balochistan during a meeting here Thursday.

PM directed to initiate direct Hajj flights from Quetta. He also announced infrastructure development package worth Rs. 8 Billion for Balochistan.

Prime Minister said that he was deeply grieved by recent attacks on Shia devotees and further said that provision of aerial and marine travel facilitations is under consideration for the devotees. PM said the he will undertake a detailed visit of Baluchistan soon to meet youth of the province in connection with Youth Business Loan Scheme. “I assure the youth of Balochistan that their right in this scheme would not be shared with any other province”, said the PM.
