PM Prime Minister reviews the progress of Development projects in Balochistan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Justice R Mir Hazar Khan Khoso has directed the Chief Minister Balochistan for the provision of maximum relief to those affected by the recent earthquake in Balochistan and said that immediate measures should be taken for the rehabilitation of the affected areas and their inhabitants.

The Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Khan Barozai, Chief Minister Balochistan, who called on him here Friday.

Dr. Nadeem ul Haq, Deputy Chairman Planning, and Mr. Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad, Chief Secretary Balochistan, were also present during the meeting.

The Prime Minister also inquired about the progress of work on the developmental projects under way in Balochistan. The Prime Minister directed that priority should be given to their early completion so that the people of the province can reap benefits with their completion.

Prime Minister reviewed the progress of development projects in the province and directed the provincial government to closely monitor their progress.

He stressed that the province of Balochistan holds a critical place in the federation of Pakistan and exploitation of vast natural resources lying underneath it can be instrumental in the overall development of the country.
