PM Socioeconomic schemes to bring positive change in lifestyle of people: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has urged the Parliamentarians to sensitize the people regarding unprecedented development projects undertaken by the present government during the last five years for the wellbeing of the common man.

These socioeconomic schemes would bring a positive change in the lifestyle of the people particularly living in remote and backward areas of the country, he added.

The Prime Minster expressed these views while talking to a group of Parliamentarians who called on him separately at the Prime Minister’s House here on Wednesday.

Dilating upon the policy of reconciliation and consultation, the Prime Minister said that it was the first time in our history that the present government introduced a culture of tolerance in national politics and took along all the political forces on issues of national importance.
The policy helped in steering the country out of challenges on a number of important national issues, added the Prime Minister.

He expressed the confidence that the democratic norms practiced by the present government would go a long way in contributions towards the overall progress and prosperity the country.

The Parliamentarians apprised the Prime Minister about ongoing development projects in their respective areas. They also informed the Prime Minister about various issues pertaining to the people of their areas.

Those who met the Prime Minister included MNAs, Ms. Robina Saadat Qaim Khani, Ms Mehreen Anwar Raja, Mr. Noor Alam Khan, Ms. Mehreen Razzaq Bhutto and Mr. Kamal Majeedullah, SAPM.
