PML-F stages rally to celebrate SPLGA abolition

MIRPURKHAS: Hundreds of jubilant Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) workers took out a motorcycle rally here on Friday to celebrate the abolition of Sindh People’s Local Government Act (SPLGA) 2012 and restoration of commissionerate system in Sindh province.

The rally marched through various roads of the city amid happy slogans in the favor commissionerate system. The delighted part workers and supporters reached the local press club amid cheering slogans that echoed the area. The party workers also danced to celebrate the historical victory that came due to the struggle of the party along with other nationalist parties of Sindh.

TheY also carried banners of the party and photos of Pir Pagaro, chanting slogans in his favour. Speaking on the occasion, PML-F leaders Sarfaraz, Masroor Baig, Malik Abdur Razak and Majeed Soomro said that the abolition of SPLGA is the victory of Sindh and Pir Pagaro.

They said that Pir Pagaro parted ways with the ruling PPP over approval of anti-Sindh local government law and played great role for its withdrawal. The party men also distributed sweets among workers and journalists on this occasion.
