Police worried as cow of’ important man’ stolen

Naudero: Local police was worried when the cow of ‘an important man’ was stolen here as SSP directed cops to immediately recover it.

Sources said the cow of one Ghulam Rasul Bhutto, an employee of the President Camp House Naundero, was stolen by unknown thieves from his house in Bhutto Estate Farm near village Izzat Ji Wandh in the limits of Ketty Mumtaz police station late last night, which panicked the local police.

SSP Larkana was immediately informed, who took serious notice and directed Ketty Mumtaz police to recover the cow without loss of time. Police acted rapidly and hired sniffing dogs at their own expense and footprints led to the house owned by one Ali Gohar Narejo at village Izzat Ji Wandh.

One seeing the police and sniffing dogs, the inmates fled leaving behind their 15 buffaloes and other valuables. The policemen immediately took the buffaloes into custody and shifted them to the police station without lodging FIR of theft incident.

Ketty Mumtaz SHO despite various attempts could not be contacted for comment.

The villagers regret that the police do not take any action on frequent road robberies and other heinous crimes in the area; however, the theft of the cow of an influential man forced them to take efforts of warfooting.
