Political activist among Two gunned down in Karachi

Karachi: Two people, including a political activist, were shot dead in the city on Friday. A 45-year-old man, Khitab Ullah, son of Kamal Kan, was gunned down by unidentified armed men in NPR area of Orangi Town, within the remit of Orangi Town police station. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities. Sources said the victim was a political activist of Awami National Party (ANP). Separately, the body of a man, whose identity could not be ascertained yet, was found from Lee Market, within the jurisdiction of Napier police station. The body was moved to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.
