Politics: Lawenforcement agencies to remain impartial in election process, says Interior Minister

Islamabad: Caretaker Interior Minister Malik Muhammad Habib has said that Police and lawenforcement agencies will be totally impartial during the election process.

He stated this while talking to media persons on Saturday after chairing a meeting which reviewed law and order situation. He said that army will be deployed at the polling stations if need arises.

Responding a question he said that Government will not tolerate security lapse in maintaining peace in the country. He said that Police and law enforcement agencies will be totally impartial during the election process.
