PPP protests in Naukot, bazaars closedclosed

Naukot, Sindh: On the call oftan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Naukot chapter the town remained closed here on Wednesday to protest against the order to arrest Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and other accused in the rental power plants corruption case.

Angry protestors took to the streets and blocked roads by burning tires. Activists wielding sticks and clubs forced shopkeepers and traders to close down their businesses. On the occasion they restored to heavy aerial firing created harassment amongst the people.

However, police parties patrolled the town to control law and order.
