PPP Sumsam Bukhari, MoS Information calls on Prime Minister

Islamabad: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that the present democratic government led by Pakistan Peoples Party PPP has introduced a positive and healthy political culture in the country.

The policy of reconciliation and politics of coalition governments at federal and provincial levels have helped rid of politics of vendetta and victimization, he said.

The Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to Syed Sumsam Ali Shah Bukhari, Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, at the Prime Minister House on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister said that during the last five years, the government has instituted policies and programmes for the welfare and progress of the poor and needy. “Economic uplift of the people and to provide them relief and succour in their daily lives has been the government’s priority”, he added.

Mr. Bukhari apprised the Prime Minister of the implementation status of various projects in his constituency. The Minister of State also thanked the Prime Minister for initiating such development projects in his area which will benefit the local population in times to come.

The Prime Minister expressed the confidence that PPP will emerge victorious in the upcoming polls and will execute such policies and programmes which will deliver dividends to the people of Punjab, he further said.
