PPP takes concrete steps for providing quality education to people: Sardar Yaqub Khan

Muzaffarabad: The AJK President Sardar Muhammad Yaqub Khan has said that PPP government is taking concrete steps for providing quality education and basic healthcare facilities to the people.

Addressing a big public meeting after inauguration of Poonch Medical College in Rawalakot on Monday he said present government is pooling all resources for the development of the liberated territory.

He said PPP Azad Kashmir has laid a network of educational institutions including medical colleges at Mirpur‚ Muzaffarabad and Rawalakot. The President expressed thanked President Asif Ali Zardari for taking keen interest for development in Azad Kashmir.

He said the Federal Government extended all possible help and cooperation to launch mega development projects in Poonch division.

He said present government would continue mega projects for the welfare of masses. He said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had set up the first cadet college at Palandri in Poonch and it was PPP that also set up a medical college in Poonch.
