Preparation for Ramazan security plan ordered

Karachi: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Shahid Nadeem Baloch on Monday directed police to ensure preparation of Ramazan security plan in Sindh with immediate effect keeping in view Quetta Imambargah blast.

He said that Ramazan security plan should be based on mutual consultation of all police departments and coordination with law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

The techniques of crimes used by terrorist, their acts and possible targets, shapes, experiences and vehicles use should be kept in mind while taking steps for security.

He said that the available lists pertaining to mosques, Imambargahs and Eidgahs should be reviewed and new lists should be made at police range, zone, district and police stations level so that Ramazan contingency plan should be made extraordinary.
