President PML speaks

QUETTA: Pakistan Muslim League believes in free and fair elections. It had secured success during 2008 but could not from the government. We would again achieve success in the coming elections.

These views were expressed by Presided PML Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain while speaking to Mediamen at the residence of Provincial Secretary General Muhammad Asim Kurd Galloo here Monday.

Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, provincial President Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhel, formers MPAs Dr Ruqiya Hashmi, Ms Sobia Kiran Kibzai and others were also present.

He expressed hope that free and fair elections would be held this time. He said ours is a democratic party and we have always kept decisions of the masses in view.

He said party won with majority in the last elections and would also be successful in coming elections. We have launched campaigning for the polls. Provincial leadership would distribute tickets in Balochistan. Whom they nominate as candidate we would have no objection.

Answering a question he said no meeting was held with Governor Balochistan on political or electoral matters. However he met with him on personal relations.

He congratulated Caretaker Prime Minister Hazar Khan Khoso. He said it is matter of happiness two Prime Ministers were taken from Balochistan. First was Zafarullah Jamali and now Hazar Khan Khoso.

Mushahid Hussain Syed said that our party would win success in the country during the elections. Parliamentary groups would meet in Lahore and Quetta as well as Sind and Khyber Pashtoonkhwa. Seat adjustment would be made with all the political parties.

Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhel said names would be announced after consultation with parliamentary group and party leaders.
