Prime Minster directs to provide assistance to KPK Government

Islamabad: On the directions of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Secretary to PM telephoned the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KPK and offered all possible medical and emergency assistance to help the victims of Peshawar bomb blasts.

The Cabinet Division has also been directed to immediately make helicopters available to the KPK Government for any evacuation of injured for specialized treatment in Islamabad or any other cities.

The Prime Minister has directed Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, Minister for Interior to immediately reach Peshawar and ensure all necessary help for the injured.

He was also asked to keep the Prime Minister abreast about the relief measures in the aftermath of the deadly attack. Mr. Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab contacted the Prime Minister’s office and asked to coordinate the required help including doctors, medicines etc from Punjab. The Chief Minister Punjab offered to extend any support to help.
