Public transporters demand improving law, order

Karachi: Karachi Transport Action Committee president Muhammad Ashraf Banglori has expressed concern on deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi and demanded of the government to take steps to give the city peace.

In a statement he said incidents of killings and crime have become routine in Karachi as the government is not taking needed steps. He said the government should provide security to citizens. He said 70percent of the city areas go closed after incidents of firing and lawlessness and not only public transporters but other traders and ordinary citizens also suffer a lot.

He demanded taking action against the criminals and terrorists so that the citizens of Karachi could also live in peace.
