Punjab Housing Minister Congratulate new Governor Punjab

Islamabad: Appointment of Makhdoom Ahmad Mehmood as new Governor Punjab will strengthen the democratic system because he has vowed to maintain good working relationship with all political stakeholders in the Province, says Federal Minster for Housing Sardar Talib Hassan Nakai.

The Minister felicitated the decision of coalition government for this new appointment and aspires for positive results of this change in Punjab governorship.

“The decision of the new governor not to join PPP is to maintain impartiality, which is a prerequisite for the governor’s office”, said the Minister of State for Housing Malik Nouman Ahmad Langrial.

The appointment of new governor will lead to change and give assurance to people that coming elections would be free of rigging which is the solution of every problem of the country, he added.

Both of the Ministers in their separate messages felicitated the new governor over accepting this momentous challenge and expressed their confidence over him that he will endeavour to strengthen the democracy which is the only guarantee to ensure country’s sovereignty and integrity.
