Qabail Party seeks CJ help to end injustice with tribal people

Peshawar: Muttahida Qabail Party MQP on Monday staged a demonstration outside the press club to condemn the ongoing US-drone attacks and military operation in Fata.

Led by the chairman MQP Malik Noor Habib Aurakzai, the protestors appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to play his role in ending the sense of deprivation among the tribal people and take effective steps to stop injustice with them.

Malik Noor Habib Aurakzai deplored the ‘genocide’ of poor tribal people in Fata urging the government to compensate and pave way for their honourable repatriation.

He deplored that the sep mother attitude of the rulers with the helpless people of Fata had been continued and none of the government official visited hospital to inquire about the health of Aurakzai blast injured.

He also welcomed the appointment of Engineer Shaukatullah Khan as governor KPK and termed it good omen for the tribal people.

He asked the governor to hold a meeting with them and find the solution of the problems through grand tribal Jirga.

He also demanded Rs 1 million compensation for the dead and Rs five lakhs for the injured in various bomb blasts in Fata. He asked the government to provide Rs 3 million for the reconstruction of the destroyed houses of tribal people.
