QUETTA: Political, religious parties and transporters have flayed increase in petroleum prices and said that government in office has utterly failed to provide relief to the masses. They warned if prices wren to reduced, all national highways would be blocked after Eidul Fitr.
President ANP Balochistan Obedullah Abid, District Amir JUI Hafiz Hamdullah, Central leader BNP Abdul Wali Kakar, Transporters Abdul Kabir Baai, Babu Shafi Lehri and Noor Ahmed Kakar said here Thursday that new government soon after coming to power has started putting in difficulty. They said increase in petroleum prices would have direct impacts on poor people while capitalists and jagirdars would not suffer. They said if government did not reduce prices, transports would block all national highway sin the province after Eidul Fitr for an indefinite period and its responsibility would rest with the government.
