Rangers arrest 31 criminals in separate raids

Karachi: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Friday arrested 31 accused in targeted raids in the city and recovered arms from their possession. Rangers spokesman said Rangers conducted targeted raids in Korangi Sector 33/E, Natal Colony, Baldia Town Sector 12/C, Kalri, Lines Area, Kharadar, AB Sina Lines, Clifton Block-1 and Sajjan Goth areas last night.

He said snap checking was also carried at PIDC areas. He said a targeted search operation was also conducted on the hideouts of banned outfits in Gulshan-e-Behar area this morning.

He said during the raids, 31 criminals including Lyari gang-war elements, criminals affiliated with political groups and members of defunct groups involved in heinous crimes were arrested, while 38 weapons, including SMGs and mixed ammo, recovered from them.
