Rangers overpower 81 suspects, recover weapons

Karachi: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Thursday arrested 81 suspects in separate raids and recovered weapons from their possession. Rangers Spokesman said the targeted raids were conducted in Gulshan-e-Ghazali, Nazimabad N0.7, Taiser Town, Pakhtoonabad, Mushki Para, Daba Colony, Gulshan-e-Ghazi, Qayyumabad, Shoe Market, and Patel Para areas last night.

He said a search operation was also conducted in Musharraf Colony area on the information of gang-war elements and members of defunct organizations. He said during the raids, 81 criminals, including Lyari gang-war elements, criminals affiliated with political groups and members of defunct groups involved in heinous crimes were arrested.

He further said Rangers also recovered 102 weapons including SMGs, G-3 rifle, hand grenades and mixed ammo from their possession.
