Rulers need to respect courts: Mumtaz

Karachi: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has said that the rulers need to respect the courts and refrain from violation the constitution of the country.

In a statement on Friday he said in past Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and other prime ministers had always accepted the court verdicts, adding Zulfikar Ali Bhutto even went to the gallows but refused to go for confronting the court. He regretted that the sitting rulers were not respecting the courts and this negative trend shows their real mentality.

He said the lawlessness and corruption in the country are at their zeniths, making it very difficult for citizens to live in peace and security. He claimed that the rulers have already make preparations for rigging the coming general polls, adding the differences between the ruling PPPP and MQM are the first step of this poll rigging.

Bhutto said the voters of Sindh this time have to reject the anti-Sindh elements for good, otherwise they would have to bear another tenure of atrocities and injustices.
