The Saudi Red Crescent Authority teams responded to nearly 5,000 emergency cases on Tarwiyah and Arafat days in Makkah, holy sites and Madinah. During the period of 7-9 Dhul Hijjah 1439 H, 1,739 of those cases were transferred to the nearest hospitals, 3,228 were treated on the spot.
The ambulatory and medical teams in Makkah provided their services to more than 4,316 emergency cases in the Holy Capital city, Grand Mosque, and the holy sites of Arafat and Muzdalifah and Mina, of which 2,846 cases got the medical care on the spot while more than 1,470 cases were transferred to hospitals.
Medical teams during the days of Tarwiayh (the first day of Haj on Dhul Hijjah 8), and Arafat treated more than 1,342 cases in the Holy City, 982 in Arafat, 632 cases in Muzdalifah, more than 862 cases in Mina and nearly 250 cases at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
Ambulatory teams in Madinah delivered their services to more than 651 visitors to the Prophet's Mosque and roads leading to the Mosque as 269 emergency cases, out of them, were transferred to hospitals and 382 cases were treated on the spot.
