SC CJP calls report from chief secretary Sindh in a human rights case

Islamabad: Chief Justice of Supreme Court Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took Notice on an application of Mr. Shahid Hussain and others, R/o Karachi registered through Human Rights Cell of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad.

They stated that the KMC allotted unlimited plots to a political person in only one day. The mentioned plots were allotted on partnership basis through the said influential person.

They further alleged that the former administrator was also removed as he did not agree to the illegal allotments. They requested for justice.

Taking the cognizance, the Chief Justice of Pakistan ordered that “Report be obtained from Chief Secretary Government of Sindh for comments regarding the issue.”
