Scrutiny of nomination papers continues

QUETTA: Scrutiny of nomination papers of candidates continued all over Balochistan including Quetta six day Saturday.

Nomination papers of Mahmood Achakzai, Talal Bugti Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hydri were accepted while several nomination papers were rejected.

According to details scrutiny of nomination papers filed by candidates for PA, NA and special seats reserved in NA and PA was underway on sixth day today. Nomination paper of Chairman PMAP Mahmood Achakzai, Talal Bugti of JWP Hydri on NA 259 and Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hydri on NA 268 has been accepted.

Several nomination papers of candidates for NA and PA seats were also rejected. Scrutiny of nomination papers of 62 candidates on PB1 was completed. Of these 44 papers were accepted and 18 were rejected. Forty of fifty eight nomination papers have been scrutinized on PB3.

An Independent female candidate from PB6 Jaleela Advocate said she had no money and thus she cannot win election. Yet she has entered the field to give awareness to the masses. Rights of the women and peace in Quetta are her desire.

Sunday is the last day for scrutiny of nomination papers.
