Security heightened along Pak-Afghan border

CHAMAN: Security has been mounted along Pak-Afghan border following frequent bomb explosions in Chaman. Strict checking of people moving across the border and body search has been intensified.

A scanner has been established for checking vehicles for the first time following recovery of 267 bombs from a truck along Quetta-Chaman highway some days ago. It has been setup along route of incoming vehicles to Pakistan. Goods trucks are searched while passing through this scanner.

Security forces sources said scanner has been installed so that no subversive material is brought to Pakistan form Afghanistan.
