Seminary teacher among four killed in Karachi

KARACHI: Four people including a seminary teacher were killed and two others injured in separate incidents of firing in the city on Wednesday. According to police, unidentified assailants riding on motorbikes opened fire near parking plaza in Saddar, killing a seminary teacher Asadullah, 30, son of Ibrahim. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).

Rescue sources said that an unidentified man was killed in Orangi No 1. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH).

A 20-year-old man, Rehan, son of Mohammad Usman, was gunned down near Korangi 5½. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

In another incident, a 25-year-old unidentified man was killed in Dates Bazaar area of Lee Market. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.

Unidentified men opened fire near Quaidabad bus stop, injuring 25-year-old Faisal. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.

A 28-year-old Saleem Ahmed, son of Shamim Ahmed, was shot and injured when unidentified men opened fire near his house in Sector Mansoor Nagar area of Orangi Town. The injured was shifted to ASH for treatment.
