Senate passes Anti terrorism (amendment) bill

Islamabad: Convener of the Special Committee on Election issues Senator Jahangir Badr presented before the Senate the report of the committee on Tuesday.

Law Minister Farooq H. Naek laid before the House “The Federal Ombudsmen Institutional Reforms Ordinance, 2013 (Ordinance No. I of 2013)”.

Meanwhile, the House unanimously passed “The Anti-Terrorism (Amendment) Bill, 2013”. It provides to amend the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.

The bill was moved by Law Minister Farooq H. Naek.
